Abstract: Developing teaching competency for students in general, mathematics teaching is an important goal in the teacher training process. The paper presents the basic capacities that need to be developed for Math students and suggests some pedagogical measures to develop the teaching capacity for Mathematics students at Pedagogic, improving the quality of teacher education.
