12. FOSTERING LEARNERS’ CRITICAL THINKING AND METACOGNITIVE SKILLS IN TEACHING “FINITE LIMIT OF SEQUENCES” (ALGEBRA AND CALCULUS 11)

Abstract: The article addresses the basic concepts of critical thinking and metacognition - two among the core elements of higher thinking level and their relationship. From a theoretical and empirical basis, the author mentions some issues of training critical thinking and metacognitive skills for high school students by designing teaching situations in teaching finite limit of number sequences (Algebra and Calculus 11).
