Abstract: Based on the model of teacher education of some countries in Japan, the Federal Republic of Germany, the UK and Australia, given the task of reforming Vietnam’s education system toward learners’ competences, the paper introduces a new model for training primary education teachers in national key schools in order to meet the demands for high quality human resources and prepare for the task of implementing the new general education curriculum from 2018 onwards.

Abstract: The article analyses features and importance of teaching model POHE (Professional Oriented Higher Education). Also, the article briefs situation of applying this teaching model at Faculty of Psychology-Pedagogy, Thai Nguyen college of education, Thai Nguyen University, ranging from building syllabus and lesson plans, using teaching methods and forms to testing and assessing learning outcomes. Based on this analysis, the article proposes recommendations to improve efficiency of applying this teaching model in Thai Nguyen University in order to meet requirements of education reform and reality.

The article indicates not only rudimentary notions of systems theory, characteristics of systems thinking, but also some education management types via modelizable approaches. Utilizing angles of systems thinking to analyze administration models in order to assist managers evaluate, recognize both advantages and disadvantages of process, afterward, propose solution ensuring wholeness, multiple dimensions and purposefulness of system. Appling systems thinking contribute a feasible approach to resolve managing maths, take part in improving education system in general and education management in particular.

The goal of education in Vietnam in the current period is actively integrated and improved the efficiency of international cooperation, implementing of accreditation of higher education institutions as opposed by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) and moving towards the model of quality assurance of ASEAN University Network (QA-AUN). The analytical advantages of AUN-QA model together with its appropriate to Vietnam education situation is an opportunity for higher education institutions to self-assess themselves, thus select a suitable model for the university's quality assurance. The compatibility between the two models has brought several advantages for higher education in Vietnam in general and, in particular, educational institutions.
