Abstract: Mathematics is a practical subject, thus application of math to reality is an important goal of teaching at schools. For the time being, however, teaching mathematics at schools in Vietnam is still more theoretical. Additionally, many teachers are struggling in finding out methods of teaching that apply mathematics to the reality or catching pedagogical perspectives on developing practical mathematics problems. This article suggests some methods to design lessons towards application with aim to improve quality of teaching mathematics at primary schools.

Abstract: Tan Phu is a newly established district in Ho Chi Minh city, thus teacher training has been paid much attentions with aim to improve professional competence of teaching staff to meet requirements of professional standards. In this article, author presents situation of teacher training and management of this activity at kindergartens in Tan Phu district, Ho Chi Minh city under professional standards and also points out causes of the situation.

Abstract: This article presents the practical experience of life skills education for primary school students through the integration of coursework and extracurricular activities. Aslo the author points out two of the most important factors for successful implementation of life skills education for students. Firstly, school leaders must plan specific extra-curricular activities and life skills education since the beginning of the school year. Secondly, promoting the role of students in positively participating in activities of life skills education is required.

Abstract: Improving quality of management of principals is required to fulfil targets of education reform at primary schools in current period. The article analyses situation of management of principals at primary schools in Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province. Based on this situation, the article proposes solutions to improve quality of management of principals such as building school plan, designing regulations and rules, applying information technology and communication to management, testing and assessing learning outcomes of students, encouraging emulation and commendation and enhancing cooperation of teaching staff.

These games aim to change teaching methods, making lessons of Vietnamese spelling (Vietnamese grade 1) become comfortable and interesting.
