Abstract: In recent years, quality assurance-based administration of curricula, especially teacher training courses, has received a lot of global attention. Numerous attempts have been made to investigate the quality assurance, curricula, administration of curricula in general and teacher training curricula in particular. ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), a system of quality assurance, is being used by a network of universities in South East Asia. This system has caught tremendous attention from Vietnamese researchers and educators in the past few years. Various curricula have been registered for evaluation and a number of those have been certified to meet the AUN-QA’s standards. Therefore, it may be high time for teacher training universities to implement AUN-QA in their administration of current high school teacher training curricula.

Results of the researches contribute to building up not only a theory system of managing the human resource supporting the educational administration but also the theoretical basis to examine the current management status of educational administrative officers.
