Abstract: Developing intellectual capacity is one of the most important goals of education in general and Mathematical education in particular, as reflected in the law on Education of Lao People’s Democratic Republic. This article has resulted in reality of developing intellectual capacity for teaching and learning Mathematics in high school, on that basis, we propose orientations to development of intellectual capacity actively for learners in teaching Mathematics, adapt to practice of high schools in Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

This is also an important goal of the General Education Program with aim to develop comprehensively both physical and mental aspects for students. Abstract: This paper presents personality characteristics of Hanoi University of Science and Technology students by using NEO-60VN. Participants include 228 students from various fields of Hanoi University of Science and Technology with an average age of 21.67. Research results showed that Conscientiousness is the dominant characteristics, Neuroticism is rarely seen among participants. The results demonstrated statistically significant relationships between the domains of personality characteristic.
