Abstract: Writing skill plays a vital role to English major students at Dong Thap University since it is one of the prerequisite requirements for them to get a B.A. degree. The research finds that most of the students have difficulty in using lexical words and academic vocabulary to enhance the quality of the written works. Some solutions are also proposed in order to facilitate students in writing such as following scaffolding instructions, making word meaning checklist and using POWER strategy. These can enhance the confidence and effectiveness of students in coping with writing tasks and writing for academic purposes.

Abstract: It is obvious that English has become a popular language in many countries in the world. As a means of communication, English guarantees better mutual understanding and has become indispensable for most of people around the world. Thus, it is necessary to find out an appropriate and effective methods of giving feedback to help university students improve their English writing skills. The result of this study indicates that using indirect coded feedback in error correction help students make noticeable progress. The students’ positive attitude towards teacher’s feedback (indirect coded feedback) means that they enjoyed using error codes to find and correct their errors. Moreover, their confidence was boosted because error codes motivated them.

Abstract: Vietnam’s general educational program in 2018 is established according to the orientation of capacity development, regulations on basic and practical knowledge and proposals on methods for promoting activeness in the activities of learners, which helps form and develop the qualifications and ability of the students in line with requirements of social development. In the context of changing educational programs, teachers and students need to innovate teaching and learning methods towards development of capacity and fostering scientific thinking, capacity of exploration and knowledge self-acquisition, etc. The article presents the problem-based learning method and proposes the organization process of the problem-based learning process in teaching mathematics in high school.

Abstract: Reading comprehension ability plays a very important role in solving academic as well as other problems in life. It is formed and developed from subjects such as Vietnamese (primary schools) and Literature (secondary and high schools). The paper presents the training of statistical math skills for Nursing students in the direction of approaching the standard of professional competence. In particular, clarify the basic skills for students to model mathematical situations, identify, select and properly display statistical knowledge in accordance with the mathematical model. At the same time, the four-step process of teaching statistics for Nursing students is introduced in the direction of approaching the standard of professional competence, with specific exercises, thereby contributing to improving the quality of rolling training.
