Abstract: Research about integrated teaching in recent years often focuses on such issues as the concept of integrated teaching, the role of integrated teaching, the orientation and content of integrated teaching in specific subjects. Such research is important in improving theoretical background of integrated teaching. However, in order to have effective integrated teaching, it is necessary to conduct more thorough research about how to plan, use techniques and assess. This research will guide teachers in every stage of teaching process. With the hope of providing teacher with better preparation for integrated teaching, this article mentions the procedure of designing integrated situation in teaching Maths at primary schools.

Abstract: The article addresses the basic concepts of critical thinking and metacognition - two among the core elements of higher thinking level and their relationship. From a theoretical and empirical basis, the author mentions some issues of training critical thinking and metacognitive skills for high school students by designing teaching situations in teaching finite limit of number sequences (Algebra and Calculus 11).
