Abstract: The new Mathematics Curriculum in Vietnam requires the use of mathematical software in computer labs to provide opportunities for students to explore, detect and demonstrate abstract mathematical ideas. What are the directions needed to follow to fulfill the objectives mentioned above? This paper presents directions in the exploitation of mathematical software for teaching and learning with a view to creating a learning environment for experiential learning and creating opportunities for students to apply mathematics in real life.
