Abstract: One of the key tasks of Mathematics education today is to create a career-oriented foundation for pupils. Teacher training colleges/ universities need to prepare students for professional knowledge to fulfill this task after graduation. On the basis of determining the requirements for teaching Mathematics in association with career orientation for high school
students, this article proposes ways of practicing Mathematics teaching professionalism in connection with pupil career orientation for Mathematics education students in teaching Mathematics and Mathematics teaching methodology in the teacher training colleges.
